Got less than £9 to spare?
I’ve checked out the third pair of Sennheiser CX300’s, and I’m happy to say that they are genuine, and the best part is that I paid just £3.76. Many have stated that they’ve brought fakes, and at a such a low cost, you’d be forgiven for thinking that they were fake.
A reliable seller of just luck of the draw?
Well I’ve brought off the same seller, and that’s ‘Rocco’ at amazon.co.uk. I’m not here to promote ‘Rocco’ but three out of three is very good you have to admit?I can only state the happy facts and hope that you’ll follow suit and buy from what I feel a reputable seller.
The CX300 earphones are a steel at this price, and although they don’t match my CrossRoads MylarOne X3’s, at such a low price, you can’t deny the CX300’s worth. I hasten to add that you’ll pay an average of £5 for delivery. But, still that’s less than a tenner!
For anyone outside the UK that can’t take advantage of these prices, I feel quite sorry for you. But in the UK, we pay far more for, cars, electrical products, and of course petrol. So please allow us this one glorious moment, in the knowledge that for once, are paying less, than any other country.
So how much are they around the world?

In the US you’ll pay around £12 for the CX300
In Japan you’ll pay around £17-18 for the Sennheisers
As far as I can see, they are unavailable in China. But I tried the HD201 which are going for £5.40 in the UK but in China they’re around £12
On the German amazon site the Sennheiser CX300’s are around £12-13

So all UK headphoners with tight budgets, the CX300’s have to be one of the best deals on the net. Cheap headphones, or IEM’s in this case. Good enough sound, and a really good upgrade from the standard ipod headphones.

As far as i can remember, when I checked a few months ago, there were no Grado headphones on amazon.co.uk. But now for all those wanting a good price deal on Grado headphones, especially those looking for the famous Grado SR60 headphones, amazon.co.uk is now the place to buy.

I brought a piar for my brother-in-law a few years ago, and for the price I paid for them (£16.99) I thought they were a bargin. But now they’re going for less than £6 and that makes them a real bargain. For a great starter headphone, the HD201’s should be your choice.

How do you get hold of a pair of Grado SR80’s For less money than the Grado SR60’s?

But there is a way to get a pair for a good reduction, and not only that, they come with a bid of modding from Alessandro.
For $99 and with the current change rate being so good, it seems the Alessandro MS-1’s headphones appear to be somewhat of a bargain for those in the UK seeking a pair of Grados.
Dare i say that not only does the Alessandro MS-1 represent a very good deal for you, but they seem to be a touch more upmarket, than the Grado headphones.
Is the a UK dealer for the Alessandro headphones?
i’m not quite sure, but at $99 and free shipping, that’s right free shipping, it’s a better deal than any merchant in the UK can do for you. You can’t even get your hands on a brand new pair of Grado SR60’s for that money.
One thing you need to be aware of is a charge from customs. Apart from that, go forth and buy.

I’ve just been watching an ebay bid for a pair of Sennheisers CX300. The winning bid was £8.54. Not bad considering you could pay upto to £39.99, however if you take a look at amazon.co.uk, you’ll realise that you can get them cheaper.
Never mind, better bidding next time.
So your looking for a brilliant but very, very cheap pair of headphones, earphones, no IEM’s. the Sennheiser CX300 is your dream come true.
Whilst others around the world are still paying a huge amount for these, here in the UK, they’re mind-bendingly cheap. In-fact they’re now available for under a fiver. As someone who uses the Sennheiser CX300’s on a regular basis, let me tell you that’s a shed load of performance for not much outlay.
For the price they are my only suggestion for you. Even of you do want headphones, I’d say buy these instead, and coming from a hardened full size headphone lover, that’s saying something.
For my fellow headphone lovers who are looking to buy the Grado igrado headphones (and why not) then you can buy them at iheadphones.
As for the headphones themselves, your in for a treat. I wore my headphones around town, into the bank, and in Tesco, and they sound better when you use them outside, than when you use them at home for some reason.
Great sound, comfy pads, although there is that slight neckband ache that you’ll get with any neckband headphones, but not half as bad as the earlier attempts by other headphone manufacturers.
A good choice!

Since starting headphonedeals, I’ve had to increase my headphone collection to bring reviews and tests of headphones that you’re looking for. Yes there are some reviews to come, the Stax SR-001 MKII system, the Sennheiser CX300 (brilliant cheap ipod replacements), and the new igrados.
But to be quite fair, the two headphones that have impressed me the most are the Grado igrado, which for a neckband design (and you know how much I hate neckband headphones) the igrados have now converted me. They are just……….lovely headphones.
The other pair that has blown my mind is the little Audio Technica ATH-ON3 headphones. I will sing their praises forever more. The clarity has blown all my other headphone under the £50 mark, clean out the water, they really have.
The only trade off with the ATH-ON3’s is the bass, because there’s not really any bass to speak of. Don’t let that put you off too much, because the clarity is phenomenal, and at the price, at double the price, I would say they’re nigh-on unbeatable.
The Igrado or the Audio Technica ATH-ON3, two great headphones you shouldn’t miss out on. Take your pick, either way, it’ll be a good choice!
I’ve been looking for this shop for weeks. I saw it a while back and, but didn’t pay much attention to the deals on offer at the time. Now I’m looking at a pair of Denon AH-D1000 headphones for my birthday (care of my lovely wife) and so i got looking for deals again, especially those merchants that offer international shipping.
I’m still looking on the site for some good deals, but as for the Denon the deal is looking very good. not as good as the price offer on amazon, but i can’t get anyone to ship to the UK.
The new igrados have arrived, and things are fine. I must have received the odd dodgy one. These things happen, but I got a replacement pair very quickly.
I have to say that now I’m the igrado’s biggest fan. Comfortable, they sound as grado’s should sound, and it’s a shame that I got rid of the Grado SR60’s because I would like to have compared them.
They are a sensational buy, and if your thinking about either the Sennheiser PX100 or PX 200, then stop and give these serious consideration.

You don’t have the same tastes as me I’m sure, and when it comes to headphones, I’m a bit of a traditionalist. Full size headphones please, with big cups and cable thicker than an anchor rope.
But with the ipods and now mobile phones able to multi task, headphones these days are required to do the same. Home, office, on the bus, in the air, taking a phone call, playing Grand Theft Auto or watching X-Men, headphones must now cater for everything.
I’m not sure there’s a perfect solution, but nevertheless headphones designers have tried their best to keep up with the times. Unfortunately I haven’t.
My mobile cost me £15, I can’t take a photo with it, and I don’t really know how to use it. If I had a bluetooth mobile phone, or I wanted a lighter way to listen to my music, on the walk to uni, then these are the headphones I’d use.

I’ve had my eyes on these babies for a few weeks now, and I’m quite intrigued, far more than I am about any other IEM. When you buy from earphonesolutions.com, you’ll should be able to save some money, especially if you live in the UK like me (we pay too much for everything).
2) Sony DR-BT50 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones
I’ve got a few Sony suggestions today, and I’ll start with the Sony DR-BT50 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones. For the obvious reason that it’s a full size headphone, this is the main appeal.
3) Bose Triport IE

Bar the Westones, the Bose Triport IE would probably be next on my ‘nearly’ list. I’m a great fan of the original Triports and in the earphone incarnation; they look a worthy prospect.
Audiophiles don’t approve, but that’s their problem. The argument is that you can buy better for the price, but I say it’s immaterial.
Instead of buying a Ferrari, I could buy a nice, reliable BMW, put a healthy deposit down on a nice house, and maybe go on a cruse, but is that better than having a Ferrari?
The only thing with Bose, is that except for buying used stuff from ebay, there are rarely any savings. The main saving would be on shipping. I’d still prefer to buy from Bose themselves.
Go on, be adventurous!
4) Sony DR-BT21G Bluetooth Headphones
I don’t want to make this a Sony fest, but let me finish with two Sony bluetooth headphones, as Sony seems to take them very seriously. Well it’ll compliment your Sony mobile phone.
Let me start with the only neckband headphones that would attract me, not because of the neckband, but as a bluetooth owner, these are stunning pair of headphones. Simple but purposeful design that makes a joke of the competition.
You need a pair of cool but serious bluetooth headphones, the DR-BT21G (say that three times really quickly) are the ones to have.
I would bow at your feet if I saw you with a pair of these!
5) Sony DR-BT30QB
Given my stats, these have been selling very well, but it doesn’t say whether those who brought them were Star Trek fans.
A very futuristic design if ever there was-one, but a fine design. As far as Sony bluetooth headphones go, I would, because I love Star Trek. I don’t think that they would work the same as they do in star trek, but with the technology in them, they’re not far off.
Final Thoughts
This 5 headphones might have been dominated by the Sony bluetooth headphones, but I think that’s it’s an ever growing niche market that needs to be taken seriously. I’m not going to enter the debate about sound quality, as these seem to be very functional headphones.
As for the Bose, you have my full blessing, and good luck to you! There might be a fitting factor (or not fitting comfortably factor) to them, but that’s nothing new for the IEM market I’m afraid, so choosing another brand might not be the solution.
For every good IEM review, I see a barrage of negative comments about fitting. but at least I’ve stated my two considerations.
