For those of you who’ve never even contemplating buying an amp, or if you just want a quick and easy boost for your headphones and earphones, there’s nothing cheaper or better (for the price) than the Fiio E3 amp! I’ve just been burning in the Klipsch Custom 1 earphones, and I’ve plugged them into the Fiio E3 and the difference in weight and scale is very noticeable.

Starting from $3.99, I’ll slap you if you don’t buy one!

I also bough some rechargeable AAA batteries to go with them. I’m listening to Enya’s new album “And Winter Came” - White Is In The Winter Night (the best song from the album) with the Klipsch are far more happier with the Fiio than without. The Fiio amp, is a nice booster. The sound is more forward, but and fairly even across the frequency range. But for $3.99 it’s a deal of the decade. Just buy one!

This isn’t a unique design for earphones. Companies like Sennheiser, Creative, AKG and Razor all use this basic shell, so it’s nothing new. But you and I know that fake versions have flooded the market, especially the Sennheiser CX and Creative Ep earphones. The soundwise T4’s use what is now a classic earphone design and stuff it with their own internals, and believe me, they work very well. The best thing is the price for these beauties has just dropped.

These soundwise T4’s are very near the same SQ as my personal favourites, the Ultimate Ears Metro.fi 2’s. Sennheiser CX300 in drag? I doubt it, but the fact still remains

Sound Quality

I’ve just finished Lost (D. Ramirez Lost In Rave Mix) - Roger Sanchez, and to be honest, for £16.50, they more impressive than the well established Mylar’s, Goldring GX200’s and dare I say for overall performance, they’re giving the Shure SE110’s a run for the money, but the Shure are a different cup of tea. They far more fuller than the competition, but the detail is still there. But with the soundwise T4 you get a good solid helping of bass. In fact, with most of the Soundwise range, the emphasis on bass is apparent

Forget about “Branded” fakes, I’ll stick with these thank you. Oh, did I say they sound remarkably like the Ultimate Ears Metro.fi’s?

I’ve checked out the third pair of Sennheiser CX300’s, and I’m happy to say that they are genuine, and the best part is that I paid just £3.76. Many have stated that they’ve brought fakes, and at a such a low cost, you’d be forgiven for thinking that they were fake.

A reliable seller of just luck of the draw?

Well I’ve brought off the same seller, and that’s ‘Rocco’ at amazon.co.uk. I’m not here to promote ‘Rocco’ but three out of three is very good you have to admit?I can only state the happy facts and hope that you’ll follow suit and buy from what I feel a reputable seller.

The CX300 earphones are a steel at this price, and although they don’t match my CrossRoads MylarOne X3’s, at such a low price, you can’t deny the CX300’s worth. I hasten to add that you’ll pay an average of £5 for delivery. But, still that’s less than a tenner!

For anyone outside the UK that can’t take advantage of these prices, I feel quite sorry for you. But in the UK, we pay far more for, cars, electrical products, and of course petrol. So please allow us this one glorious moment, in the knowledge that for once, are paying less, than any other country.

So how much are they around the world?

As far as I can see, they are unavailable in China. But I tried the HD201 which are going for £5.40 in the UK but in China they’re around £12

So all UK headphoners with tight budgets, the CX300’s have to be one of the best deals on the net. Cheap headphones, or IEM’s in this case. Good enough sound, and a really good upgrade from the standard ipod headphones.

As far as i can remember, when I checked a few months ago, there were no Grado headphones on amazon.co.uk. But now for all those wanting a good price deal on Grado headphones, especially those looking for the famous Grado SR60 headphones, amazon.co.uk is now the place to buy.
